Begumgonj Textile Engineering College, Noakhali is an engineering educational institute in Bangladesh under Bangladesh University of Textiles. Plays a role in the textile education in Bangladesh. History
During the British colonial rule dealing with 1911-1929, 33 schools were established in East Bengal roving fabric to meet, offering a course of six months at the artisanal level. The college was upgraded a degree in textile engineering to offer in 2007. The course is a member of Bangladesh University of Textiles.
General Admission procedure and admission requirements:
Admission to Begumgonj Textile Engineering College is competitive and has a high academic performance in the SSC and HSC level. The selection of students for admission is made through admission test of 200 marks. Students have the opportunity to participate on the basis of merit. Admission
The entry requirements for admission test are:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bangladesh.
- The applicant must have a scientific background having minimum GPA 4.0 (without fourth subject) in SSC or equivalent and a minimum GPA of 4.0 (without fourth subject) in HSC or equivalent examination.
- The applicant must have the average GP 4.5 and individually GP 3.5 in physics, chemistry and mathematics at HSC or equivalent level.
- GEC holder applicant must have an average grade of B in 5 subjects from Chemistry B degree in physics, the average O-level and safe and Mathematics at A-level, class D, but not accepted.
- Not apply to students last year
