Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) , Bangladesh

Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology or Cuet is a major public university located in the port of Chittagong, the big city and the second largest city in Bangladesh. It is one of five public universities in Bangladesh and the only public university engineering Chittagong division with about 2,000 students, including a number of foreign students and 200 teachers. It was founded in 1968 as the School of Engineering, Chittagong, Bangladesh Institute of Technology, Chittagong in 1986, the institution received university status in 2003.

Mission of the University is "to educate students in the field of engineering and applied sciences and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge that will best serve the nation and the world too."

Cuet offers engineering education in both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and also provides a title and conducts basic scientific research at the graduate level. There are eleven academic departments under five faculties to emphasize in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and planning. Educational and research Approximately 640 students are enrolled here at the undergraduate and graduate programs each year. In college admission test, only about 13% higher than 5000 students are admitted to the candidates selected for the admission test.
